The Goodnight Playlist, Vol. 4

These curated, ten-song playlists are drawn from the hundreds of songs published on my Twitter feed since 2015. Enjoy the music—and as ever, sleep well and wake brave!

{Note: This series curates ten-song selections from the hundreds of songs published since 2015 on the Twitter feed linked to Proof. Songs pre-dating 1973 will appear in the “Lost Classics of the 1960s” series, instead. The playlist below approximates the length of a single album. Most of the songs included in the series are even better if listened to on high-quality headphones.}

While my expertise when I was a disc jockey was in American and British psychedelic music released between 1965 and 1972, I’ve been thrilled to have the opportunity to use Twitter to share hundreds of songs of more recent vintage that I encountered in my years of collecting music as well as during and after the time I spent spinning discs on the radio. I hope these playlists will start new conversations—including giving members of the Proof community a chance to share their own favorite songs. So if you’re a full subscriber to Proof, feel free to let everyone know your favorite(s) from among these ten songs in the comments—and to post your own favorite song(s), too!
