Since the landmarks they drove by have not moved (trees, park benches, bus stop signs, sewer-grate covers, and others), and an approximation of where the cameras were filming (I imagine some cameras were fixed locations), one should be able to get a reasonable speed it takes an object to travel from one location to the next. Now obviously if they are traveling at 10 mph, this part would not help, but maybe there exists a part they floored the cart?
