A comprehensive review of recent developments in Donald Trump's rebellion against the people of the United States and their democratically elected federal government.
I have nothing kind to say about Trump and party! He is a dick! I worry about the state of the world when people actually fall for this absolute seditious crap and also believe all the conspiracy theories and lies. What have we become as humans-good humans?
This is scary, very unsettling. If I read this in a novel, I would find it unbelievable. Now I’m beginning to wonder if the good guys will win in the end. Where’s Captain America when you need him?
Seth, I can't help but wonder if Miller & Kash Patel were involved in Trump's war council Jan 5th.
Even before his live testimony Miller's given four versions of events Jan 3rd-6th. The most revealing seems to be this Vanity Fare where Miller & Kash Patel said they met w/ Trump at the Whitehouse the evening of Jan 5th:
"On the evening of January5—the night before a white supremacist mob stormed Capitol Hill in a siege that would leave five dead—the acting secretary of defense, Christopher Miller, was at the White House with his chief of staff, Kash Patel. They were meeting with President Trump on “an Iran issue,” Miller told me. But then the conversation switched gears. The president, Miller recalled, asked how many troops the Pentagon planned to turn out the following day. “We’re like, ‘We’re going to provide any National Guard support that the District requests,’” Miller responded. “And [Trump] goes, ‘You’re going to need 10,000 people.’ No, I’m not talking bullshit. He said that. And we’re like, ‘Maybe. But you know, someone’s going to have to ask for it.’” At that point Miller remembered the president telling him, “‘You do what you need to do. You do what you need to do.’ He said, ‘You’re going to need 10,000.’ That’s what he said. Swear to God.”
*The official DOD timeline from Jan 8th said:
Sunday, January 3, 2021
" A/SD and CJCS meet with the President. President concurs in activation of the DCNG to Support law enforcement"
*That DOD timeline makes no mention of any Oval Office meeting Jan 5th NOR to any calls from Trump Jan 5th.
YET, Miller's 5/12 prepared remarks said:
"I also want to address questions that have been raised in regard to the President’s Involvement in the response. He had none with respect to the Department of Defense efforts on
January 6. On January 3, in MEETING at the WHITE HOUSE with the President and several others regarding numerous unrelated topics, the Mayor’s request for National Guard support was discussed for less than a minute. The President said to give the Mayor the support she requested.
I will reiterate that we were already committed to giving that support and the matter was not discussed that evening (or at any time) in the context of seeking or needing the President’s
approval. "
MILLER CONTINUES:
"On the afternoon of January 5, I RECEIVED A CALL from the President in connection with a rally by his supporters that day at Freedom Plaza. The President asked if I was watching the event on television. I replied that I had seen coverage of the event. He then commented that "they” were going to need 10,000 troops the following day. The call lasted fewer than thirty seconds and I did not respond substantively, and there was no elaboration. I took his comment to
mean that a large force would be required to maintain order the following day. At the time, I had been advised by our domestic law enforcement partners that based on their experience with protests and crowd control, as well as their intelligence information, that they were confident that they had sufficient personnel assigned to maintain order"
AND FINALLY
"I am unaware of any briefing or any other discussions the President may have had with any other government officials or his advisors regarding law enforcement preparations for
January 6. "
The Just Security piece I linked elaborates further & contains a references to an internal DOD timeline which was also different.
Oh, one more thing... here's an article we posted back in late January of this year... it covers the Jan 6th security response (and some quotes from Miller):
Part of the reason for Trump's new platform failure is because it's just a basic web site with static pages and a contact page to collect people's information for grifting. There's no database attached for comments, etc. It's basically a $500 web site that any monkey can commission online.
This is great! Anyway to have a back button on the links to return directly to the place it was in your article? If I click a link, read the source material and close it, I get sent to my twitter feed.
This is what I do. Not sure if this what you're already doing or is useful on your particular browser. Right click on the link and select "open link in new tab." That opens the linked item (even Twitter) in another tab and won't affect the Proof page you're on at all. You can then click on the new tab and read it and the Proof page stays where you left it. Just close the new tab when you're done and return to the Proof page. You can even go through the whole article opening in new tabs and then check them out one by one after you're done with the article on Proof, which is what I usually do because I'm too impatient to go back and forth. (I usually end up opening the links on those pages the same way, which leaves me with 20+ tabs open). :) I have been on one website that does what you're suggesting, so I may be misunderstanding what your issue is.

In your next update you might want to include this link to to all Capital Cases, which grows daily https://www.justice.gov/usao-dc/capitol-breach-cases
Added to the preamble above, thanks!
Remember, the USA has exactly One, only one President at a time. Ever
Anything else is a seditious notion

Fantastic Overview! Hey Seth, I want to point everyone to an article in JustSecurity.org .
Giuliani’s FARA Problem is the name of the article dated May 11. This is a fantastic article that details Trumps conspiracies...

I want to thank you so much for this, Jewelz! A great catch by you, as ever.
Didn't Miller and Rosen's testimony to congress happen today (May 12)? You've got May 11 for that. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Fixed it!

Thanks catgirl! Very kind of you. That will work if I want to dive deep, although I like using my iphone...
