Speechless! I hope to God we get all of them and all of you at Proof deserve a Pulitzer. A Nobel Peace Prize for finding the truth about this failed insurrection attempt. this is journalism at its finest and those rat insurrectionist bastards worst nightmare.

The more we learn about this, the more infuriating it becomes. That so many people deny the seriousness of it and/or try to pretend Trump had no prior knowledge makes it even worse. It's like we're living in an episode of 'The Twilight Zone' or something.

Thank you for your in depth investigating and reporting. We've learned so much from your efforts.

Seth, if you are not awarded a Pulitzer Prize for your work, the decision process is broken! Thank you for being an American hero! Incredible work here! And the Ornato thing, in particular, had been driving me crazy. I feel so enlightened now 💡

Seth, if anyone was wondering whether or not you and Proof are worthy of a Pulitzer for your work exposing the truth of January 6th, this amazing article should end all doubts! Thank you for working so hard to save our country and preserve democracy! ❤️

Long time follower, but new subscriber. I just put in my ante so I could read this article (now will have to go back and see what I’ve missed).

Great work assembling and interpreting. I have to believe (for my own sanity) that some former Trump insider will publicly spill the beans and bring receipts. Until then, it’s just another thing he gets away with.

This was act 1. These guys are taking over local commissions, boards, councils, etc. Our country is being eaten alive, from the inside. How to fight such a cancer?

I don't think there's an easy answer. Maybe by doubling down on the same strategy the GOP is using -- and which Democrats have used in the past -- recruiting grass-roots party members to run for office at the state and county levels and then educating prospective candidates about the nuts-and-bolts of running a political campaign.

Republicans have quite a head start, though. In 2016 an unknown candidate won the Republican primary for North Carolina secretary of state. Democrat Elaine Marshall, who has held that office since 1996, told me she anticipated dark money entering the race and also expected "third-parties" to play a role in an attempt to win and take over the office of secretary of state. She won, btw.

DEMS need to step up their messaging -- GOP is flooding the information warfare battle space with propaganda 24/7 with almost no organized pushback

There are Trump toadies who were on restricted grounds Jan 6 running for GOV in MI, PA, NV,. TX, GA . Some are State legislators who helped plan Jan 6 or appeared to be directing the attack in some cases. Same thing for Secretary of State in several states, open Senate and Congressional seats. We are definitely under attack ..

And recognizing the risk upfront instead of brushing it off like people did with Trump's candidacy.

Some of them are starting to speak to Jan 6 committee and I know for a fact they are receiving Seth's work as I've been forwarding it w/ some of the work our Capitol Hunters group is doing for them.

And I agree, it's scary

Me thinks Grassley had been prepped about Ornato wanting to remove Pence , even if Pence didn't want to go.....why else would he say he would preside Jan 6 before trying to walk it back ?

I have been thinking about Ornato and wondering about his role. It appears he is still in Secret Service management. Unreal...

Oh Seth!

I have to first say, thank you for this amazing piece of journalism. It was voluminous, but you put everything out there. (perfection)

I was eager to read it. Now, I'm wide awake.

You should include a play list to bring down our heart rates.

Excellent report, Seth! As always, I admire your ability to juggle so many threads while inexorably drawing them into a tight ball aimed straight at the insurrectionist plotters and their foot soldiers.

The other side of this coin of Stop The Steal incitement, organizing, trial by combat, Fight, occupy rhetoric, etc., was the Slowed Response Force at the Pentagon - Miller, Patel, Brother Flynn - to keep the National Guard in check and five lost words - Do Not Enter The Capitol! Repeated over and over. To create a line, a guardrail, not to be crossed or breached. You have shown once again that breaching the Capitol was a line Trump ET al. Intended to cross to effect a coup in plain sight. While you hold back on claiming evidence of intended violence, Trump’s response to the violence at the Capitol, refusing to call off the mob and send in the National Guard, is circumstantial evidence that violence was perfectly acceptable if it helped effect his coup. After all, how many coup since WW II have been bloodless? Their plan was like overturning a chessboard in a match you are losing and then claiming the right to rewrite the rules. I hope your work helps prosecute this entire cabal of Trump conspirators and preserve our republic. Great job once again.

Was a multi pronged attack

In addition to everything I find unsettling about this, the fact that there were something like 200-300 (more or less) state representatives on a call with Trump and crew okay with this plan and NONE of them said anything (assuming I understand the articles correctly - information overload, brain is full)

I'm also amazed about that. You'd think anyone specially chosen to play a role in tfg's triumphant return would at least brag to the neighbors. Maybe tfg required everyone to sign one of his notorious NDA's.

I hope the FBI is following all the money paid to these traitors. They're not trying to overthrow our government for ideology. They're doing it for money. Money and power.

I don’t doubt for one second that this coup was absolutely planned. You, Seth, have connected the dots in an extremely detailed yet understandable way. Extremely grateful to you. Thank you.

The problem is there are people who don’t care…they truly believe it is “the people’s house” and they had every right to be there. The details be damned…they don’t understand them anyway. They have no clue what the constitution means.
