There are some points they made that I agree with but both sides are playing political games. I would rather see the Justice Department go after all the players in this conspiracy that you have laid out in your tweets Seth!

They're admitting repeatedly that Trump is no longer the president. Yet Trump refuses to refer to himself as ex-president. If he truly believes he won and is the rightful president, then that defense doesn't seem to make sense.

Since they bring up the recording of trump's speech, they just need to play it during the trial. It's pretty obvious when you listen to it, what he meant. Not sure referencing the recording is going to help their case lol

Assuming that a president isn't above the law entirely, what other mechanism is available to hold them accountable for actions taken while in office? Or is the argument that a president IS above the law and there is no way to hold them accountable?

Legal Defense 7 strikes me as diabolically clever. It's not designed to meet a strict standard of logic, it's designed to give R Senators some wiggle room to vote No.
