Seth; I love reading serious journalism. Thank you for doing the hard stuff in the name of truth. I don’t have much of a following, but I will certainly share it as widely as possible in the hopes that some will make the investment. I feel privileged to be part of your community.

In the coming weeks and months we will find out Putin and Netanyahu are in cahoots.

It should be noted, the median age of residents in the Gaza Strip is 18. 65% are 24 or younger. It’s as if war were declared on a university campus. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/10/11/what-is-gaza-strip-the-besieged-palestinian-enclave-under-israeli-assault

Such a frightening time to be alive, for many reasons, not the least of which is trying to figure out what is going on. So many media people have an agenda or simply, a bias that they can't get past. Others are honest but relying on second hand information that might be wrong. And they are gathering this information in an incredibly charged emotional environment, which makes it doubly hard to decipher reality themselves.

So Seth, thank you for what you do and also for emphasizing what should be the main consideration for everyone, something that the powerful players seem to think of as merely a secondary concern. Thousands more innocent people will be killed if people give in to their emotionalism, and in the case of the radicals in extremist Christian and Muslim circles, their boneheaded blood lust.

I thought Netanyahu describing supposed atrocities committed by Hamas, as in burning children and the like, had inappropriate body language and facial expression when it came to "the latest atrocities."

It's bad enough without having to make anything up.

Noticed Trump was quite quiet during the attack in Israel.

WHY oh why are people like Elon Musk allowed to meddle in foreign affairs? He yanked the satellite system from Ukraine; he promotes disinformation and incendiary rhetoric on social media—these are violations, I thought, of the Logan Act. Also:

18 U.S. Code § 953 - Private correspondence with foreign governments

U.S. Code

Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.

This section shall not abridge the right of a citizen to apply, himself or his agent, to any foreign government or the agents thereof for redress of any injury which he may have sustained from such government or any of its agents or subjects.

Who has everything to gain by making BLM look monstrous? That's right, white supremacists. We don't yet know who is behind those 3 Twitter posts, and until we do, keep doubting. I pray that isn't an official BLM statement, rather just somebody intentionally making them look bad/evil/dangerous. Too early to tell and too many deceitful people on Twitter nowadays. Can't trust anybody.

You never cease to amaze me, Seth. How you can gather all of this information together so quickly, then collate it into such a spellbinding article is utter journalistic genius. You are always ahead of the game. We subscribers have the privilege of standing back and looking at the picture on the lid as we see the scattered jigsaw pieces on the table.

It is so scary how all of these despots pull the strings around the globe, poking and interfering in our everyday lives. I recently read an article saying there's evidence we could be living inside the Matrix - one big giant video game. Sometimes it certainly feels that way and I don't like it one bit. While there are still far more questions & answers, I know this: Hamas started it but Israel will finish it & Hamas will cease to exist

In the middle will be the needless ruthless destruction of Gaza & 1000s of innocent lives

Seth, thank you for this piece. I spent many years of my life as an activist for ending the occupation of Palestine and the siege on Gaza. Again and again, I have seen that there are political reasons for why the illegal occupation has never ended. Innocent people have died in the thousands over the decades, yet those who are responsible for the carnage don't even live there.

Ask why the power of Hamas to go to war has obviously increased a thousandfold over the last 10 years, from the powerless little homemade projectiles that rarely harmed anyone to the organized and well equipped force we're seeing now.

Iran? Sure, but being under sanctions crippled their own arsenal. Netanyahu was willing to move heaven and earth to annex the entire West Bank by starting a major war. He is the only one who could move enormous amounts of ordnance and weapons into Gaza successfully. Israel needs to clean house.
