How Trump responded to his recruitment remains unclear. What is clear, however, is that it shaped his entrance into politics and his foreign policy in a way the world now ignores at its peril.
Thank you, as always, Seth. "America defeats its enemies by not being like them..." That's one beautiful statement!
I see why he loves his tariffs now.
And also why he thinks America is a Loser State: he was about to lose bigly in the bankruptcy courts. It's all projection, being a disaster but claiming he's the victim. He blames a whole nation for his own PABhood. Russia picked the perfect man, about to lose his money, who never had a soul and an ego so fragile it could be bought with a few tender words and cheap hookers.
On the dividing of the planet, Putin may fight fat lad for Africa. There’s already quite a Russian influence over there with Wagner’s “peace-keeping”, plundering Africa Corps.
Trump is the Loser State personified. A man who is so insecure he needs people to pass him articles in court to tell him what a special little boy he is. A man so self-sufficient that he has to employ a diaper changer. Physically or metaphorically, he can neither control his bowels or clean up his own mess.
All the 'loser' countries out there are busy trying to decide which is the lesser of the evil dominators, hence China is moving into places never thought possible. This article is a total eye-opener that makes all trump's crazy behavior totally explicable - thank you Seth. The general population of the US is completely clueless to what trump is about - hardly any wonder he sees them all as 'losers' & poops all over them once he has them captured, and they still can't see what he is - the class bully operating at the international level !!!
I think this article needs to be sent to every single Congressman & Senator regardless of affiliation - it's a totally different 'take' on how to view trump & what he is made of !!!! Could the Repubs possibly actually find themselves angry enough to form an alliance against him to turn things in a different direction ? musk is already causing a lot of rethinking on what is going on !
Thank you Seth, I read his father built homes for military returning from wars, went to Congress for 2-3 million more to continue building. They granted him the money, he stopped building and started his empire. I’m sick to my stomach after reading your post. We’re all in grave danger. Stay safe everyone. Here’s something you might of already read about https://newrepublic.com/article/192008/trump-musk-scandal-corruption-crypto?
So it’s been said FBI/hmm KGB, I read now Republicans etc turning in those are SS who don’t obey T/immigrant/migrant etc orders will be arrested county, city, state. (Or whatever info) pls correct me if I’m wrong. There’s one more, trying to locate, if I can’t find it stay safe.
When all is said and done, he is and has always been a buffoon. His "doctrine" is a facile, puerile imagining of what constitutes weakness and strength. The reason that the "trump doctrine" has essentially not changed since its formation with the foundational trip to Russia in 1987 is that he is incapable of deep and serious thought. And the primary driver for everything trump does can be ascertained from your first principle of the 'trump doctrine" (1) One of the major things a nation must seek to avoid is being “laughed at.” Replace "a nation" with "trump" and you have your answer.
Always personal with him, thanks to a tyrant of a father and a distant mother. Also, the influences of Roy Kohn and Rev. Norman Vincent Peale explain a lot. The fighting and bullying form the formar, and the irrational optimism (the stock market tanks and he ignores it, sudenly not important). His compass is not reasoning or knowledge, but appearance (while not looking in the mirror), retribution and one-upping.
Thank you Seth for making the quilt. My mind was going offline this morning filled with so many questions, seeing so many inexplicable actions. Yesterday when thinking of the Hegseth firings, in particular, that he said he may fire many more, the name that popped into my head was Erik Prince. It definitely is looking like we will outsource to Blackwater like killer Putin has done with Wagner group. Putin has proposed that the three great super powers Russia, China and US should be divided up by "spheres of influence." Takes me back to the eccentric lady that latched onto my family who would call and talk about the Triumvirate of World power back in the 1970's and 1980's. She claimed it already existed. As for the "killer" mentality, one could also say that it was further emphasized and popularized by the political ideology of the 1980's of Reagan and Bush Sr, i.e., the ends justify the means.
My main question, the one that smolders daily in my mind is why disclosures were not made by the three letter agencies about the imminent threat to our systems of governance. Perhaps I am naive about the pathways and security of intelligence but I don't believe for a moment that the intel community was unaware of what is now coming to fruition. The various types of kompromat gained by KGB/FSB and his alignment with global authoritarianism must have been seen, it must have been monitored and therefore existed as common, if clandestine, knowledge. The puzzle pieces that form the overall image we now see were in the mainstream media for all to see, as though it was preparatory for us to accept this unfolding new reality Do they view an authoritarian system as one where they gain more resources, act with impunity and see that as a benefit worth scrapping democracy? Is the employment of the technocratic oligarchy an efficient end to installing an even more onerous AI fueled and privatized surveillance state?
Amazing work as always. Despite trump having lackeys at the CIA and at NSA, there must be a substantial body of legacy operatives who know what you have arrived at, but in greater detail to say the least. And the lackeys might have no visibility to them. I cannot think but that these legacy personnel, some of whom fought the USSR & Russia tooth and nail, are ... pissed beyond belief.
The conspiratorial thinking I'm drifting around causes me to think that trump is in grave danger.
Your take on "killers" reminded me of the Bongino video I saw recently where he waxes about "power". He is a trump "little me" and his creepy spiel strikes me as an accurate reflection his master's mind.
Twenty years on the take is a significant investment by "good people on the other side" (where good is purely hypothetical and probably irrelevant). If he fails in delivering on his outstanding obligations... for which great sums have been paid... they may consider taking him out themselves.

World, we're gonna need a bigger diaper... 🦈
Africa would be consumed either by Russia or China who has an extremely large influence throughout the continent.

With This Knowledge He Still Became President?? I have no words. Old American citizen out.

You’ve worked so hard and I’m grateful for everything you have done to bring Truth/facts and evidence. Thank you Seth
Here is the article
https://www.theguardian.com/news/2017/nov/15/how-trump-walked-into-putins-web-luke
That article was a walk down memory lane! The Steele dossier has certainly been borne out. To think Trump got elected again!
This article, while long, lays out what Trump and the other autocrats are up to with great clarity.
Seth, why are you restricting this to your paid prescribers? Shouldn't this be disseminated and widely distributed or at least amplified by others?
Thank you Seth,

As always, the best researched, sourced, written, and thoughtful investigative reporting out there. Thanks again, Seth!
Thank you. I wrote this in 2018, frustrated that nobody was saying it:

Well said.
Prince was just in London at a conference spouting his “ideas”.

oh good lord.
btw Seth thank you for your lack of TDS + attention to detail + big picture view + dedication.

Mysterious fall out a window, or a tainted Big Mac.
Thank you Seth for this eye-opening article.
The last paragraph, not withstanding, would it not be interesting to explore the responses/reactions, available?
Is the article predicated on the assumption that contagious fear may paralyze all citizens?
