Thanks for including civic lessons on your list. I had to learn all of that stuff from textbooks when I was a kid but my teenage granddaughters lived it. So now, we can all talk fluently to one another about the emolument clause, rules of Impeachment, and Section 3 of the 14th Amendment and so much more - all things I never thought much about but am so grateful that our Founders did.
Brilliantly written! You have articulated what I have been struggling to explain to my friends--that we can't rely on the old big news sources alone anymore. We actually have to seek out info from different kinds of sources now and take responsibility for our news diet.
